With miles and miles of saltwater marsh surrounding St. Simons Island Georgia, trout and red drum abound .These estuaries are among the most productive found any where in the world. Shrimp and blue crab flourish in these waters and in turn trout and red drum respond in like fashion. Trout and Red Drum Fishing: All year round Peak Seasons: May-June & September-December. Bull Red Fishing: September-April: Peak Season: September-mid November.
